About this item
Photograph, 12 May 1988. Photographic print of a crowd of people talking in a courtyard beside a stone building, among them a curly-haired man in a dark jacket and scarf, smiling and gesturing as he talks to a man in a grey suit, and a woman in tinted glasses and a pale jacket at the right. The museum lists the print as 'probably funeral? Found with other photos but uncertain', and the exhibition showed it with the funeral pictures. It is not established that this is Hastings Crematorium, and nobody in the picture is named in any source.
Bexhill Museum item 198. Print from the Bexhill Observer photographic archive at Bexhill Museum.
Shown in UNSEEN: The Alex Sanders Archive at Bexhill Museum, Part Three, The Vacant Throne (6 September 2026), presented by Julian Porter of Bexhill Museum and hosted by Sharon Day for Alexandrian Witchcraft.
