Cup found on Bexhill beach, two views, 1989

Object in Bexhill Museum's collection, found on Bexhill beach in 1989, photographed in two views. It is a brass coloured goblet with a plain deep bowl, a turned stem and a broad foot, worn and discoloured. One side of the bowl is engraved with a pentagram inside a circle and, below it in copperplate script, the words 'May This Life Force Be Blessed For Eternity For We Are One'. The first view shows the whole cup against a blue ground; the second is a close view of the bowl and the inscription. The museum's list records that it is not known whether there is any connection between the cup and Alex Sanders or his coven, and no source in this archive establishes one.
