The caption explains she is warming up to be technical adviser on the witchcraft sequences in the film The Eye of the Devil, and that she had recently married Alex Sanders, 'king' of the warlocks, in the first witchcraft wedding in England in more than 200 years. The photograph was taken by UPI at Claridge's in London in January 1966, when Alex and Maxine Sanders were technical advisers on the MGM film Eye of the Devil, released in the United States as 13.
