One tips in a stream of dark grains from a packet marked weed killer, one stirs while emptying a jar of jam, one pours from a tin at the right. Around them on the floor are a bottle labelled arsenic, a bottle of whisky, a tin of paint, a bottle of castor oil, an Oxo cube and a tin of polish. A spider hangs on a thread at the top left.
