The blond man the paper described as a black magician from Hastings, unrobed and in shirt sleeves, kneels by the fireplace holding the hands of a young coven member in a dark robe, who sits with her back to the fire. The museum lists the print as 'Black magician and Susan'. The paper reported that at this point he told her 'your thoughts will go out to Maxine'.
