Photograph, 23 April 1975. Photographic print from the Bexhill Observer's coverage of the ceremony reported on 26 April 1975. The blond man the paper described as a black magician from Hastings stands barefoot and unrobed, arms folded, in front of the altar. Behind him is a carved wooden chest bearing flowers and a goblet, and on the wall a painting of birds. On the floor are chalk markings, candlesticks, an open book and the draped mannequin head. The museum lists the print as 'Black magician'. The paper reported that he 'was not robed' and paced the room while the coven changed into their robes. He is not named in any source.
