'"Pull out before it's too late"', letters page, Bexhill Observer, 3 May 1975

Bexhill Observer, 3 May 1975. Two readers' letters printed under the heading 'Pull out before it's too late', responding to the report of 26 April on the coven at Chantry Cottage. Mrs J. Lyddon of Fowlers Close writes that witchcraft is 'not a matter for tolerance' and urges prayer against it, and Mrs Dorothy Heddle of Terminus Avenue, the wife of a local minister, appeals to those involved to withdraw. These were the only two letters opposing the coven that the paper printed in these weeks. A separate, unprinted reader's letter from the same weeks survives as items 114 to 116.
