'Black magic trial vicar speaks out', Bexhill Observer, 14 June 1975

Bexhill Observer, 14 June 1975, page 9. Interview with Prebendary Harry Edwards, who had retired to Manor Road, Bexhill, two years earlier and who gave evidence at the 1974 trial concerning rituals in Highgate Cemetery. He gives his view of witchcraft, which he calls 'hysteria and stupidity', and of the recent local coverage, and says that he does not perform exorcism: 'That is rubbish. There's no such thing.' The piece closes the paper's run of coverage that began with the report of 26 April 1975 and the clergy's open letter of 3 May.
