About this item

Photograph, 22 July 2026. Modern colour photograph of the terrace on Marina, Bexhill, taken from the De La Warr Pavilion car park across the road: tall gabled houses of red brick and painted render with bay windows and iron balconies, cars parked at the kerb. No. 17 is in the centre of the terrace. The museum's list gives the address as 'No.17 Marina, opposite De La Warr Pavilion', where Alex Sanders lived in the mid 1980s; Kevin Carlyon's 1988 account, item 183, also says 'Alex lived for a while at 17 Marina'. Taken for the exhibition. Bexhill Museum item 164. Bexhill Museum collection. Shown in UNSEEN: The Alex Sanders Archive at Bexhill Museum, Part Three, The Vacant Throne (6 September 2026), presented by Julian Porter of Bexhill Museum and hosted by Sharon Day for Alexandrian Witchcraft.
