'The Coronation Of A Priest King', Maxine Sanders, 1965

Handwritten manuscript by Maxine Sanders, five numbered pages, written in 1965. It opens by describing the office of the Divine Priest King as the oldest institution of authority known to man, setting it beside the Emperors of China, the Inca of Peru and the Pharaohs of Egypt. It then states that in 1965, for the first time in half a thousand years, a High Priest and Elder of the Great Mother Goddess was invested and crowned as a Divine Priest King, and names him as Alexander Sanders. Writing as one of the thirteen present, she describes a year of secret preparation, the party at which he found five covens and the Council of the Elders waiting for him, and the ceremony itself, ending with the ring of the Royal House placed on his finger.
