'Witchcraft talk at Little Common', Bexhill Observer, 9 October 1971

Bexhill Observer, 9 October 1971. A short report that Mrs Fifield gave a talk on witchcraft to the Little Common evening Women's Institute, and showed how many superstitions were probably linked with the past, when people refused to become Christians and worshipped other gods in secret. The vote of thanks was given by Mrs Bates. The rest of the item covers a proposed drama group, a coffee morning at the president's home, committee nominations and a competition for an arrangement of berries. The paper spells the speaker's name Fifield here and Fyfield in its report of her 1967 talk; the two appear to be the same speaker. Bexhill Museum item 045.
