Photograph, 2 July 1974. The coven sit on the brick floor of the temple beside the altar, which shows at the left with its goblet, candles, dish and an open book propped on a stand. The cauldron stands on the floor in front of it. A record player and a stack of records are on a table behind. Betty Britton sits at the front in a shining robe with her eyes closed, a man bowed towards her shoulder; two younger members sit against the wall, and at the right a man lies back on the floor with a hood pulled over his face. The museum lists the print as 'Alex and Cauldron'. The caption cards record that Sanders went into a trance at this point and that his voice became distorted. Bexhill Museum item 080.
