Caption cards 'Witches 7' and 'Witches 10', 1974

Two white cards written in blue ink in 1974, numbered Witches 7 and Witches 10, from a set of nine. Witches 7 records that after a few minutes he seemed to go into a trance and his voice became distorted, that one of the witches near enough to hear took notes of what was said, that he had apparently contacted someone who told him of a youth killed in a crash only a few hours earlier, and that he was given the youth's name, approximate age and address and asked to pray for the parents. Witches 10 records that bread and wine was then passed round the circle from man to woman and woman to man according to witchcraft tradition, and that the evening ended with a farewell message to the guardians.
