Typed cards, 1975, three stapled pages headed 'alex add 1' to 'alex add 3', with the handwritten instruction 'Add to GP Story May 3', that is, copy to be added to Gilbert Pool's follow-up for the edition of 3 May 1975. Page one reports that Alex Sanders had been contacted by someone purporting to be a London florist, sent a bill of over seven pounds for funeral roses and lilies, and told that a note of condolence for Maxine Sanders had gone with them in his name; Sanders said he had nothing to do with it. Page two records Maxine Sanders' response, by telephone from London, to the Bexhill ceremony: 'Don't make me laugh.' Page three notes that she had received no funeral flowers from Sanders or anyone else. One entry for the three pages.
