Reader's letter to the Bexhill Observer on the witchcraft story, three pages, 1975

Typed letter, 1975, three pages, unsigned. A reader's response to the Bexhill Observer's report of 26 April 1975, headed with the quotation 'WITCHCRAFT IS MY RELIGION (Joy Britton)'. The writer argues from the Old Testament, citing Deuteronomy, Leviticus and Exodus, against witchcraft, spiritualism and any attempt to speak with the dead, and describes the 'King of the Witches' as a false teacher. Page one ends 'over', page two is headed '2.' and page three '3.' and closes the argument, so the three items are one continuous letter rather than three letters. Red and blue sub-editing marks, including suggested crossheads, show it was prepared for setting. No printing of it has been found in the paper. Bexhill Museum item 114 to 116.
