'Witch king "angry" as disciple weds', Bexhill Observer, 15 October 1983

Bexhill Observer, 15 October 1983. Front-page report, subheaded 'Witches boycott civil ceremony', on the marriage of Derek Elliott Taylor, 44, described as High Priest of the coven, to Floriana Passerini at Hastings Register Office. The paper, working partly from an agency report, said Taylor last lived at the Bell Hotel, which it called the coven's headquarters, that he had been a witch for nine years and had studied with Alex Sanders. Sanders is quoted as saying Taylor had acted wrongly in marrying someone met through coven work and that he and fellow witches would stay away: 'It doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned.'
