'Coven? Not at Bell', Bexhill Observer, 22 October 1983

Bexhill Observer, 22 October 1983. The landlord of the Bell Hotel, Councillor Maurice Bell, responds to the previous week's report on Derek Taylor's wedding, item 156, part of which, based on an agency report, had described the Bell as the coven's headquarters. He says Alex Sanders and his friends 'are welcome in The Bell and always have been, as customers and friends', but that they had never made the hotel their headquarters and had never carried out rites there: 'We believe they have a coven at some different place but we have no knowledge of it.'
