About this item

Photograph, 19 May 1988. Photographic print in Manor Gardens, Bexhill Old Town, of the young man in the pale suit identified by the Bexhill Observer as Victor Sanders, carrying a rucksack over one shoulder, talking with a long-haired man in a dark suit whose back is to the camera, while a third man in a dark suit and glasses smiles beside them; other mourners follow along the path behind, with the flint walls of the Manor House ruins beyond. Taken around the wake at the Manor Barn after Alex Sanders' funeral; see 'The vacant throne', item 188. The museum lists the print as 'Victor'. The companions are not named. Bexhill Museum item 192.
