Letter to Margeret Thatcher (Prime minister) from Alex Sanders, document 1679

Typed personal letter of support from Alex Sanders 'King of the Witches' to PM Margaret Thatcher.

1679 Chantry Cottage, High Street, Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex 6/4/81 Dear Margaret Thatcher, Champion of the people, Margaret! You must break the food freeze on Poland and keep thine iron hand in the velvet glove; but be very positive in family strife because of your weak son. You can and will become the Premier of the E.E.C. Unstarve Poland. Czechoslovakia will have no power:— it is a bluff from Moscow to East Berlin. Make a stand, you become Grand Premier. Make a programme of your honest efforts. Feed your efforts into a computer. You will find upon the assessment that your invested collateral is realising, thereafter you can take chances with investment in the E.E.C. You will be successful in your speculations. The reference to "the food freeze on Poland" reflects genuine, contemporary food shortages and rationing in Poland at that time. - "E.E.C." refers to the European Economic Community, the forerunner of the European Union, which the UK had joined in 1973. - The return address, ‘Chantry Cottage, High Street, Bexhill-on-Sea’, was Alex Sanders’ home. It is the same address used in Docs 1666 and 1676 and on the postcard in Doc 6400a-b - "Elizabeth I" refers to the historical Tudor queen (reigned 1558-1603) — the letter presents a vision of her spiritually supporting Thatcher. - "your weak son" likely refers to Mark Thatcher, consistent with the earlier documented prediction about Mark Thatcher in mow2380i1.jpg ("Mark Thatcher will kill himself in a car smash").
