A transcript of the night of a festival held by Alex. Julia asking Alex questions about being a Priestess.

6693 Monday August 2nd. The festival was held after all. David Attwatter and his wife Julia arrived for it. Alex, who was not feeling at all well, had hoped for an early night. I was with family and particularly Diccan so I was not present. Little Betty and Alan Chappell were invited for the festival. Julia spoke well as a priestess and had a conversation with Alex in which she made a discourse upon what a priestess was and how she should behave and for what purpose. I mention this now so that I or others may be reminded to ask her again so that her views may be recorded. Alex was impressed. The Temple Bed. The headdress to be taken upstairs. St Francis to be placed on the altar. Alan banished completely. I tell him he is not welcome and not to come. He defiantly follows me into the Bell to argue with Alex. I warn him. He eventually leaves. Alex does a telephone interview with a new magazine called "Just Nineteen." The reporter is told of the recent events in Bexhill including the girls from Ancaster House; the Satanists in the woods. Police cooperation. Alex goes into a state of consciousness. "[Anne — handwritten insertion above line] [illegible name — reads approximately 'Hans an Ziegler Webster Booth']. I am me, I am very conscious. I will tell you this, that he is the one. He is the High Priest of the Satanists. They have covens in Sidley, Cooden and Eastbourne. John Crutchley will deal with Alan. Now that is all I am going to tell you." To anyone who is used to working with a medium I will say that his trance state was like "going the other way." At the time of writing I do not know whether he has any memory of it. This night Alex spent a lot of time talking and meeting people in the astral. I overheard some of the conversations but in a piecemeal manner. I know that Little Betty arrived and held his hand. Philip also arrived and Alex told him that his attitude was wrong, his motives were wrong. Someone he told that pride goes before a fall. Spirit world also communicated. "I don't know what you are showing me? Are you showing me states of my drunkenness? — Or are you showing 6694 August 2nd–3rd cont. me something from your side?" — Much later in trance:— "Tell me what I am supposed to be looking at? It looks like rice. Economic conditions in China are going to change radically because of a good rice harvest. Overproduction of crops the world over will cause collapse of economic conditions." "You must not stop the Battle of the Lebanon. I did begin to warn you in the Bell Hotel but he told me to stay silent. He said that you had much work. He needs many people to record the work. You must not be concerned that Beirut is being taken tomorrow or in the first few [illegible] hours of the following day. They are only going into the City Center. President Sadat is going to be the blame." "I must say this, as I have been into his brain for a moment, that he heard of the going into Beirut on the radio in the Bell Hotel. Our proof is that we told him before when he bade us be silent." Alex is very particular about the quality of his mediumship. Alex accepted the point and confirmed that he had bade them be silent. After one of his astral sleep conversations about which I was only aware that some meeting was in progress, Alex sat up suddenly: "Satanists they are. They do not hurt people in their belief. Has Little Betty been — yes she has." Later, after some cigarettes — "You must tell him not to concern himself with Beauregarde. Do nothing. Others will do the work for him. The Temple is beset by many perils and dangers at the present time. The Temple must be a place of purity and peace and without aggression. He must stay strong and invincible. Many people will be won." Alex sits up and says to me: "We are going to face some bad publicity. I see snow and ice covered mountains, I don't know what that is about." Alex again in trance, coming to it from out of sleep: "We have read the article. We are going to get him. We have followed him, we know where he goes. We will get him." The speaker gave his name: Aaron. "August 17th 1972. I was created by Dianne, by Celia, by Rosemary and by Stewart, as God is my witness. I am Peter Dual. I am the Aztec." The spirit who spoke giving advice several times and information has not yet given his name.
