LETTER 1 102 L'Estrange Esq. Satanicus REX. 2. Macaulay House. 374. Portobello Rd. N. Kensington. W.10. London. England. 5th August 1983. Greetings O Alex (King of Wicca), May it please Thee to cast Thy eyes in the direction of this most humble Witch S. Rex. Do you remember the Chepstow Pub? One night down there, you paired off your Coven, sending Sue Scorpio to David (Jew), but that didn't work out, she was my High Priestess. Or did you not know? I would like to get in touch with her again, but don't have her address, maybe you have? If not, I appeal to you to find me a substitute Witch Girl (in her thirties, as she will hopefully still be fertile, as I want a SON to follow in my NAME!) I didn't have the accommodation when I was in Ossington Street, W2, but I have a self contained flat now, all by myself, unfortunately, I am LONELY for Girlish Arms around me, and keep me warm nights! Please BUST yourself, and get yourself weaving on my account TO-DAY! Thanking You O Alex, Blest Be, Satanicus REX. [symbol resembling an ankh] Senechal [signature, uncertain] --- LETTER 2 2474 Rex L'Estrange-Bailey. Esq. (AMSG. Gt. Btn). 2. Macaulay House. 374. Portobello Rd, North Kensington, London. W.10. August 13th 1983. Greetings Derek, Priest of Wicca, May it please Thee to listen to even I, S. Rex, a humble Witch, of the Alexandrians, late of the London Coven, from 1969 time. Like you I used to do the advertising, and typing of needs of the Coven, under Merrie Ron, taskmaster. I used to be the Western Watchtower, and acted on stage with Alex with the Magic Sword, and Sword of Mars. I personally only have my Athame (black handled knife) and home made green smock, ask our Alex about it. I was also made a member of the Du Calians, and "opened" back of neck. When I rode my BSA motorcycle (now sold) I used to change the traffic lights from red to green, made less wear on clutch, brakes, don't you know. Yes, I will look forward to having Alex (& you) calling on me, I'm usually home by 7pm, as I'm a Registered Community Worker of Kensington & Chelsea, weekdays. At the moment I chasing around looking for a Valve Tester Meter, and book, as I want to repair TV gear, etc. here. I have some cans of Larger and brown Ale for visitors, also record player with lots of records, and the one I made from one of my songs, "Happy Times". Will I hear from you soon, Derek? (I have no Phone) Blest Be, REX. PS. I would like Sue Scorp's address, please.
