Transcript

1687 Dear Maxine, You may notice that I am still courteous enough to use the term "Maxine"! I initiated you with the help of Paul King, for the record. I laid my sword and crown at your feet, and Paul told you — though the third is token [flagged for discussion with Maxine — exact meaning of "token" here unclear]. You were warned during these ceremonies that the power was only loaned, to be used wisely and justly. Regardless of titles of kingship, they came later. I was your High Priest and initiator. The responsibilities for the burdens over the years I have absorbed to my karma. Now I rescind the power that was loaned to you, and draw it back into myself. You have usurped your position of authority. You have brought it down to the level of Bronwen. What is mine is mine and must return to me, the King. P.S. Dear Postman, throw this down, otherwise she will bite your fingers off. The King [Envelope:] Queen Tortousa / Torture Chamber of Horrors Basement Dungeon 15 Clanricarde Gardens Bayswater Notes: - The site's own official title for this document is "Draft of letter to Maxine Sanders (Signed The King)" — confirming this is addressed to Maxine, not another individual. - "Clanricarde Gardens, Bayswater" is a real street in West London. - "Bronwen" — a named individual used here as a point of comparison for a diminished status; not otherwise identified in this collection. - This document represents Alex formally reclaiming ("rescinding") authority he describes as having only loaned to Maxine, framed as a serious ritual/administrative act, not merely a personal dispute. - The mock/theatrical envelope address ("Queen Tortousa," "Torture Chamber of Horrors," "Basement Dungeon") is consistent with Alex's demonstrated flair for dramatic, theatrical language elsewhere in this collection. Authorship note: This document is a draft letter from Alex Sanders in his own voice, addressed directly to Maxine Sanders, signed "The King." Straightforward single authorship: Alex Sanders.
