She looks directly at the camera. Behind her a young woman in a pale robe with a braided neckband and an ankh on a cord watches, her hands at her sides. The brick fireplace and the edge of the altar are at the left, and the small iron cauldron, still smoking, stands on the floor at the foot of the picture.
