Head and shoulders portrait of Joy Britton, wearing a crocheted cap with a butterfly ornament, one of the Bexhill Observer prints from the evening of the ceremony reported on 26 April 1975. The paper described her as 21, the daughter of the high priestess, brought up in the Church of England and initiated 'just over two years ago'. She told the reporter that she had become interested through her mother and through reading about Alex Sanders, and that 'Witchcraft is my religion.'
