'Just a spell of travel trouble', Bexhill Observer, 14 March 1985

Bexhill Observer, 14 March 1985. Light diary item following the paper's coverage of the counter-ceremony, item 167. After photographing the ritual, the paper's photographer Jimmy Burke found five members of the coven around his car; one asked whether, if he was going back to Bexhill, he could give them a lift. He could not, and the paper speculates on how 'five mysterious cowled figures' got home, suggesting the top deck of the number 48 bus. The piece confirms the counter-ceremony took place outside Bexhill and that its participants travelled back to the town. Bexhill Museum item 173.
